Delta Gamma Chapter Enjoys Summer Workshop, Announces 2015-16 Officers

July 14, 2015 - Twenty-one members of the Delta Gamma Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International met Monday, July 13 for a summer workshop in the Paxton home of President Fannie Watson. Members enjoyed a luncheon and made plans for programs, projects, and meeting places for the coming year. Committees also met and discussed upcoming plans for 2015-16. The Delta Gamma Chapter serves key women educators in Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby Counties.

Delta Gamma Celebrates Founders' Day; Honoring 12 Women

May 16, 2015 - The Delta Gamma Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International celebrated a Founders' Day Ceremony at their May meeting to show appreciation and gratitude for the twelve women whose vision and foresight founded the Society.

Dr. Annie Webb Blanton had a dream of a society of women teachers, and she founded the group on May 11, 1929. The Delta Gamma Chapter serves key women educators in Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby Counties.

Tom Johnson Speaks at Delta Gamma Meeting

February 13, 2015 - Tom Johnson, weatherman from the radio station program San Augustine Speaks, informed Delta Gamma members on recent updates on finding current weather conditions and how the weather gets reported at their Feb. 9 meeting in Joaquin, Texas. Delta Gamma Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is composed of key women educators in Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby Counties.
