July 15, 2025 - U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director Lance Jacobs in Nacogdoches County reminds farmers and landowners that FSA is hosting an informational meeting regarding the 2025 county committee election process and all programs offered by FSA on:

July 2, 2025 – Nominations are now being accepted for farmers and ranchers to serve on local U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) county committees. These committees make important decisions about how federal farm programs are administered locally. All nomination forms for the 2025 election must be postmarked or received in the local FSA office by August 1, 2025.  

July 18, 2024 – Farmers and ranchers have until August 1, 2024, to nominate candidates to serve on the Angelina-Nacogdoches-Trinity-San Augustine-Shelby County Farm Service Agency (FSA) Committee. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) accepts nominations each year in certain Local Administrative Areas (LAAs) for individuals to serve on these locally led committees.

Producers in more than 200 counties may be eligible
