August 28, 2017 - The Panola College Fillies opened their season at the Rose City Classic with a bang, taking down all 3 opponents in straight sets. The Fillies defeated North Central Texas College (25-21, 25-11, 25-13) in their first match of the season. Sophomore right side Kaitlyn Adams and sophomore outside Jaqueline da Silva paced the offense with 6 kills apiece. Sophomore and freshman middle blockers Barbara Sabino and Daphinie Correa each chipped in 5. Sophomore setter Cayman Sutton racked up 13 assists and freshman setter Molly Harris added 9 in her debut.

August 15, 2017 - Panola College/Shelby College Center is offering Beginning Yoga classes August 21 – September 27. The class will meet Monday and Wednesday from 5:05pm – 6:05pm. The cost of the class is $45.00 and pre-registration is required.

August 3, 2017 - Cooper Clinton of Carthage, Texas has signed to Rodeo at Panola College next year. Cooper is a 4-time state qualifier in Breakaway roping, Barrels, and Goat Tying.
