September 13, 2016 - The Patricia Huffman Smith Nasa "Remembering Columbia" Museum would like to recognize and honor LJ Schrieber for his 5 years of service with us. We are very grateful and thankful to him for his many years of dedication and service to our organization. Please stop by and let LJ give you a tour, he does a wonderful job sharing Columbia’s story.
April 19, 2016 - We are excited about hosting the Deweyville ISD 4th graders on their upcoming field day. Deweyville elementary school was closed due to all the flooding we had several weeks back. We look forward to sharing Columbia’s history with these students. These students and teachers have been through a very difficult time and we hope their visit to our museum and town will be a fun stress free day. We have a big day planned for their visit!
February 17, 2016 - With this spring time weather it’s a great time to get out and visit your local historical sites. This past we had visitors from as far away as Maine and North Carolina. Stop by the museum for a visit. One of our staff will be happy to give you a tour and tell you all about our facility. While you are there, visit our gift shop. We have many news items available.
We have two groups scheduled to come to the museum next we and we are excited about their visit.
