March 30, 2022 - The National Wild Turkey Federation will host their annual fundraiser banquet this Thursday, March 31st at the Carthage Civic Center in Carthage, Tx at 6pm. Tickets can be bought online or at the door for $40/single or $60/couple.
JAKES tickets (17 and under) are $20 and a drawing for a lifetime hunting license will be held the night of the banquet as well. One lucky youth present at the banquet will win a lifetime hunting license!

August 12, 2019 - Free and open to the public, join Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, National Wild Turkey Federation, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Texas A&M Forest Service and the Panola County Soil and Water Conservation District (SCWD) in an evening event outlining programs to help landowners create and improve habitat for wildlife of all shapes and sizes.

March 19, 2018 - The 17th annual Panola County National Wild Turkey Federation Banquet will be held Friday, March 30th at the Carthage Civic Center. Doors will open at 5:30pm and dinner will be served at 7:30pm. There will be a live and silent auction, games, and plenty of raffle items to give away. Single tickets are $40 and couples are $60. AUSTIN — With the recent discovery of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) in two captive deer breeding facilities in south-central Texas, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will be stepping up efforts to strategically sample hunter harvested deer at a greater level during the 2015-16 hunting season.
