February 26, 2026 - Joaquin ISD board of trustees will hold a public hearing during their regular monthly meeting at 6pm on Monday, March 16, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Joaquin ISD Boardroom. The 2024-25 Annual Performance Report/TAPR will be discussed during the hearing and input from the community, parents, taxpayers and the general public are welcome.
July 30, 2025 - Joaquin Independent School District is holding an informative meeting to include our school’s Title I Annual Parent & Family Engagement and our School-wide Title I Program. There will be two separate meetings giving the same information - no need to attend both meetings. The meetings will be held on August 7th at 5pm in the elementary library and on August 20th at 9am in the administrative board room.
December 14, 2015 - Joaquin Junior High participated in the 2015 22AA District UIL Academic Contest last week in Shelbyville. Joaquin was the district meet champion with 732 points. We are very proud of the hard work of all the students who participated.
