September 16, 2016 - Woodmen Life Chapter 250 will hold their annual monthly meeting on Monday, September 19th, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the meeting room at The Pizzeria. Members will discuss the Matching Funds project, 2017 calendar year events, along with regular meeting agenda. Refreshments will be provided by The Pizzeria. Anyone interested in learning more about Woodmen Life is invited to attend.
August 10, 2016 - Woodmen Life Chapter 250 will hold their annual reunion dinner on Monday, August 15th, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Those in attendance will enjoy fellowship and a nice dinner at Clear Springs Restaurant in Nacogdoches. All members and those interested in Woodmen Life are invited to attend.
May 12, 2016 - Woodmen Life Chapter 250 will hold their annual scholarship picnic on Saturday, May 14th from 11:00-2:00 at Boles Field Picnic Area. All members will enjoy a hamburger and hot dog lunch will all the trimmings provided by members. Graduates will be awarded a scholarship from Woodmen Life for being a member and will tell of their future plans.
March 17, 2016 - Woodmen Life Chapter 250 will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, March 21st at 6:00 p.m. at the Shelby County Courthouse second floor meeting room. Special guest speakers will be Mrs. Sherry Harding of the Shelby County Outreach Center and Mrs. Brandy Emanis of the Senior Nutrition Site. Mrs. Harding and Mrs.
December 17, 2015 - Woodmen Life Chapter 250 will hold their annual Christmas party on Monday, December 21st, 2015 at 6:00 pm. The party will be held at Lynn Locke's located on Hwy 96 South in Center. Members will enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner and participate in a Chinese gift exchange. Limit on Chinese gift is $10, and you may bring male, female, or a unisex gift. Members will also be donating to the Rainbow Room for the kids of Shelby County again this year.
November 12, 2015 - Woodmen Life Chapter 250's regular scheduled meeting for Monday, November 16th at 6:00 pm has been cancelled.
Members of the organization decided to come together this year and help with the community Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the Shelby County Outreach Ministries. Any members who would like to help with the dinner by donating time or by bringing deserts can come to the Senior Nutrition Site anytime between 8:00 am until the event is over after lunch.
October 15, 2015 - Woodmen Life Chapter 250 made a monetary donation to the Shelbyville VFD on October 5th, 2015. Woodmen appreciates all of our local volunteer fire departments! Accepting the donation from Ashton Askew was Chris Koltonski, of the Shelbyville VFD.
