September 14, 2016 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Tenaha Independent School District will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 beginning at 5:30 p. m. in the Boardroom of the Administration office located at 138 College Street, Tenaha, Texas 75974.

August 19, 2016 - Notice is hereby given that a Called Public School Board Hearing is set for Monday, August 22, 2016 at 5:15pm in the Boardroom of the Administration Office, located at 138 College Street, Tenaha, Texas 75974. 

August 16, 2016 - High school football is underway as teams have already begun scrimmaging on another. The Tigers Junior Varsity team will play New Diana in a scrimmage on Thursday, August 18th at 6pm. The Tenaha Tiger 2016 JH Football season begins September 8th at Joaquin at 5pm.

August 15, 2016 - The Tenaha ISD announced today it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2016-2017 school year.

Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals.

This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
