Janaury 12, 2016 - The Association of Texas Small School Bands is pleased to announce the selection of the 2016 ATSSB All-State Band. More than 9,000 high school band students from across Texas auditioned in twenty different regions for a place in their respective all-region bands.

January 11, 2016 - Tenaha Roarin' Band from Tigerland senior trombone player, Jacob Samford, placed 2nd at the ATSSB All-Area Band contest on Saturday, and advanced to the ATSSB All-State Band for the second consecutive year!

January 8, 2015 - Notice is hereby given that on the 11th day of January 2016, the Board of Trustees of the Joaquin School District will hold a special meeting at 6:00 p.m., at the Administration building, Joaquin, Texas.

December 15, 2015 - Tenaha ISD Board of Trustee Election will be held on May 7, 2016.

Notice of Deadline to File Applications for Place on the Ballot:

Filing Period: First Day to file an application for a place on the ballot is January 20, 2016
Last Day to file an application for a place on the ballot is February 19, 2016

Deadline for Write-in Candidates:
February 23, 2016 – Office will be open 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p. m.

December 8, 2015 - The Tenaha Band's Christmas Concert will be Wednesday, December 16th at 2:30PM in the SEC. The 6th Grade Band, 7th Grade Band, and High School Band will be performing in this concert.

Parents are invited, and admission is Free! So, come enjoy some holiday music and support the Tenaha band students at the same time!
