Scrap Happy Quilters to Meet June 1st

May 28, 2024 - The Scrap Happy Quilters group will meet on Saturday, June 1st 9am at the James-Antioch Community House. Our group makes and donates Quilts of Valor to Veterans and nursing homes. We also offer a monthly project. This month is a table runner called Oriental Fan. You may work on this project or one of your own. Not only do we enjoy fellowship with each other, we learn new ideas and techniques.

Scrap Happy Quilters to Meet May 4th

April 29, 2024 - Scrap Happy Quilters meeting is Saturday, May 4th at 9am at James-Antioch Community House. This month we will have a lesson on "Learning how to machine bind a quilt.”

We are also working on lap quilts as Christmas gifts for the residents of Focused Care in Center, as well as Quilts of Valor for our Veterans.

Kits are available and may be taken home and returned at our next meeting. If you have a project you are working on at home, feel free to bring it and work on it.

Scrap Happy Quilters April Meeting

March 26, 2024 - Scrap Happy Quilters Meeting will be hald Saturday April 6, 9am at James-Antioch Community House.

This month the group will be working on lap quilts as Christmas gifts for the residents of Focused Care in Center, as well as Quilts of Valor for our Veterans. 

Kits are available and may be taken home and returned at our next meeting.

If you have a project that you are working on at home, feel free to bring it and work on it. 

James-Antioch Community Center Announces Quilt Winner

December 21, 2021 - Congratulations to Odessa Link the winner of the quilt.

The James-Antioch Community Center wants to thank everyone who purchased tickets this year. The ticket sales were over $2,900. The entire proceeds will go to the Community Center for upkeep and utilities of the building.

We also want to thank the quilters who participated in making of the quilt and all the ones who sold tickets. This was truly a group effort.
