October 21, 2025 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are hosting the 12th Annual Taste of the Holidays, presented by Shelby Savings Bank, an eclectic culinary sampling and dining experience, on Thursday, December 4th from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the John D. Windham Civic Center. Tickets will be on sale beginning Monday, November 10th and will be available to be purchased at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce office or from any Chamber Ambassador.

November 7, 2024 - J.J. Ford will serve as Grand Marshal of the Annual Santa’s Christmas Parade. The parade, presented by HR Group, LLC, will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Sponsor for the Grand Marshal is Dazzle Me Pink & Blue.

J.J. Ford was the recipient of the 2023 Distinguished Service Award and was recognized at the annual Shelby County Chamber of Commerce awards banquet for her contributions in and around Shelby County.

August 8, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Staff invite the public to join them at a New Member Ribbon Cutting for J’s Bar and Grill on Thursday, August 24th at 11:00am.  J’s Bar and Grill is located at 1510 Southview Circle in Center.

Ashley and Jeremy Snider, owners of J’s Bar and Grill opened the doors in March of this year.  Prior to the opening of J’s Bar and Grill, we followed them around town in their food truck, J’s Custom Eats, for delicious fish tacos.

January 11, 2021 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Board meeting previously postponed due to weather is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20th.

St. John’s Episcopal Church in Center is hosting a Mental Health First Aid class on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 8:30am until 5:00pm.
