Dutch Oven Cookers to Host September DOG at Portacool Park

September 11, 2025 - The Toledo Bend Dutch Oven Cookers will be having our September DOG (Dutch Oven Gathering) on Saturday, September 20th starting around 9:30am at Portacool Park in Center, Texas. We meet on the third Saturday eight times a year. The public is invited to attend, watch, and learn. If interested to also join. Bring your lawn chairs. If you would like to eat with us you can bring a covered dish to help out with the food. Come join the fun.

Sabine County Beekeepers Meeting Aug. 4

July 25, 2025 - The Sabine County Beekeepers will meet for our monthly meeting on Monday, August 4th at 6:30pm. We meet every 1st Monday of the month at 6:30pm at the Sabine County Extension Agents office in Hemphill, located in the Brookshire Brothers parking lot next to Family Dollar.

The public is invited to attend, watch, and learn. If interested to also join. Bring your lawn chairs. If you would like to eat with us we do accept a $5.00 min. donation per person, and you can also bring a covered dish to help out with the food. Come join the fun.
