Football and Soccer Signups

August 9, 2024 - Parents here is the link that will be used to sign up for Football and Fall Soccer. You must upload the birth certificate even if you have already played. Once you upload the birth certificate once, it will be uploaded for every sport you wish to play. The deadline to register is August 15. If you are unable to sign up online, you may visit city hall Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30. Click here to sign up.

November 22, 2023 - The Center Recreation Department is proud to announce that the 2024 Basketball signups will begin soon.

Where? The Community House (425 San Augustine Street)
When? Thursday, November 30th from 5pm to 7pm

Parents are encouraged to come by City Hall at 617 Tenaha Street to sign up also. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30-4:30pm. If one of the signup dates doesn’t work for you, please come by City Hall before December 1st to sign up.

2023 DYB Regional World Series “Thank You”

August 23, 2023 - The DYB World Series was hosted July 19-23 at the Center Park and Softball Complexes. We had 50 teams in 5 divisions compete for a chance to be WS Champions.  When the final play came to an end, the 5 champions were: T-ball – Bossier City, LA; 6u Coach Pitch – Montgomery American, AL; 7u Coach Pitch – Shreveport, LA; 9u – Laurel Jones County, MS; 11u – Southeastern, AL. Center, TX was Runner-Up in 11u.

2023 Center Football, Soccer Signups

August 15, 2023 - Below is the information for Football and Soccer Signups. Tonight, August 15, and Thursday are the only in person signup dates. City Hall is open everyday if you want to go by between 8:30-4:30. August 23 will be the last day to sign up.

January 18, 2023 - The Center Recreation Department is proud to announce that the 2023 Spring Soccer, Softball, and Baseball signups will begin soon.

Where? The Community House, 425 San Augustine Street, Center, Texas
When? Friday, January 27; Tuesday, January 31; Friday, February 3
Time? All Dates from 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Boys and Girls, Ages (4-14) are encouraged to play

Center Recreation Department 2023 Basketball Signup Deadline Nov. 4

November 4, 2022 - Although the Center Recreation Department signup days have passed for the 2023 Basketball season, it's not too late!

Parents are encouraged to come by City Hall at 617 Tenaha Street to sign up before November 4th. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30-4:30pm. After November 4th, there will be a $15 late fee added to the registration. For more information contact Jason Mitchell, City of Center Recreational Director at 936-590-7196.

Cost is $60 per child Basketball (Ages 4-12)
