July 19, 2018 - The Capt. Jesse Amason Camp # 282 Sons of Confederate Veterans will hold their regular monthly meeting July 30, 2018 at the Las Margaritas Restaurant, 110 Nacogdoches St., Center at 6:30 PM. Come join us as we honor our Confederate Ancestors!

Holmes to Speak at Sons of Confederate Veterans Meeting

TAGHS January Meeting Cancellation

January 15, 2018 - Due to the prediction for bad weather and poor road conditions, coupled with the potential for exposure to flu related illnesses,  the decision has been made to cancel the TAGHS January monthly meeting and the board meeting that were scheduled for Wednesday, January 17. 
 
We hope to see everyone well and healthy at the February meeting. Stay warm and safe!

Camp 282 Sons of Confederate Veterans October Meeting

October 25, 2017 - The Capt. Jesse Amason Camp #282 Sons of Confederate Veterans will hold their regular monthly meeting October 30, 2017 at the Las Margaritas Restaurant, 110 Nacogdoches St., Center at 6:30pm. Come join us as we honor our Confederate Ancestors!  

We will making finial plans for our December Christmas Party - details next month!

All interested parties are encouraged to attend, and any male descendant of a confederate soldier who was in good standing is eligible to join. The public is welcome.

Weaver Cemetery Association Annual Meeting

October 4, 2017 - The Weaver Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the New Columbia Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The church is on FM 1970 South across the road from the cemetery. All interested people are invited to attend.

If you would like to make a donation to the fund providing for the care of the cemetery please send your check to Weaver Cemetery Association, c/o Renee' Faulkner, PO Box 632423, Nacogdoches, TX 75963.
