November 27, 2017 - Super Group String Orchestra and Piney Woods Youth Orchestra of Nacogdoches in concert under the direction of Leonard Kacenjar, conductor for Project String Power, Inc. will perform at First Baptist Church of Carthage at 7 p.m. on December 18. Everyone is invited to attend. There is no admission charge.
After 2017 Spring Recital, Maestro Leonard Kacenjar stands with violin students who played solos and group selections to share their progress in making music as students of Project String Power, Inc.
August 2, 2016 - Project String Power registration for violin, viola, cello, upright bass, harp, guitar (all styles) and banjo lessons is Saturday, August 13, 10:30-12 noon at St. John's Episcopal Church in Naylor Hall. Scholarships available. Choose the instrument you want to play and set a time for lessons.
January 29, 2016 - Piney Woods Camerata, a string instrument chamber group from SFASU that performs without a conductor, will perform Sunday, February 21, 2:30 p.m. in the Frances Ross Ballroom of Panola College Student Center. The group has seventeen members including music faculty and auditioned students. They will play a concert of Baroque music as a benefit for Project String Power, Inc. of Carthage. Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted. Enjoy the concert and the reception that follows.

Delta Gamma invites you to First Baptist Church of Tenaha at 6 p.m., Monday, December 14 to enjoy the program, sample delicious refreshments and to visit with the musicians, guests and Delta Gamma members.
