October 12, 2016 - Holiday Nursing Home is hosting a Chili-Cook-off and Fall Festival on Thursday, October 20th at 5:30 p.m. Bring your best pot of chili to join the competition! There will also be a hayride.
March 10, 2016 - Holiday Nursing Center will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday, March 25th at 10:30 a.m. for children 12 and under. There will be a bounce house, hot dogs and the Easter Bunny will be on hand to greet the kids!
February 26, 2016 - Notice is hereby given that the polling places listed below will be open from 7am to 7pm, March 1, 2016, for voting in the general primary election for the Republican Party to nominate, prosidential electors, Members of Congress, Members of the Legislature, and state, district, county, and precinct officers.
October 23, 2015 - Holiday Nursing Center residents, staff and guests enjoyed a Fall Festival and Chili Cook-off on Tuesday, October 20.
A hayride was a treat for young and old alike. The cook-off competition was stiff with many pots of delicious chili entered. Winners of the competition were Leigh Porterfield, first place; Pam Vance, second place; and Irada Oates, third place.
September 10, 2015 - Staff and residents of Holiday Nursing Center gathered to display a blue ribbon in support of Peace Officers and in honor of First Responders and Patriot’s Day.
September 9, 2015 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce announces the 39th East Texas Poultry Festival, presented by Farmers State Bank, will kick-off Wednesday, September 23rd with several events, including the Chicken Fajita Lunch, the Doo-Dah Parade and the Chicken Cooking Contest. These events usher in the season prior to the Festival opening Thursday, October 1st.

Collard, O.D. located next to the Rio Theatre on the downtown Center Square, October 1, 2 and 3, from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
