June 14, 2017 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will have a writing class on Tuesday, June 14th, at 2:30 p.m. Local author, Terri Lacher, will be giving tips and ideas on how to make your thoughts and ideas come to life.

Our next summer reading event will be Thursday morning, June 15th at 10:30.  Sara Ward - the Story Lady, will be our performer for the younger children. Then at 2:00 p.m., the Tweens will have another LEGO group.  Reading logs are still available.  Our summer program is sponsored by the Center Noon Lions Club.

June 6, 2017 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will re-open on Tuesday, June 6th, at 1:00 p.m. We now have power to the library. The phones and the internet were restored this morning.

We are very thankful to the City workers, Gary Helton, SWEPCO, and AT&T for their work getting us back up and running again.

Also, we appreciate the patience of all our patrons during this time when we had to be closed.

May 31, 2017 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library is closed again today due our electrical pole being knocked down. With the electric companies being so busy with storm damage around the area, we do not know when our power will be restored. We are sorry for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience in this matter.
