March 21, 2017 - The Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center will be hosting our annual Butterfly Release on Thursday, April 13, 2017, in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month. This event will take place on the downtown square starting at 4:30 p.m. and is open to the community.
The butterfly release is an opportunity for you to contribute your time to raising awareness of child abuse. You can also help the SCCAC in our efforts to prevent child abuse by educating yourself and others about child abuse.
April 12, 2017 - The Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center will hold our annual Butterfly Release on the Center square on Thursday, April 13, at 4:30pm. This event is part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and is being sponsored by Farmers State Bank.

April 4, 2017 - The SCCAC has a limited number of Child Abuse Awareness bracelets available for $5 during April, which is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Come by our office Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm to get yours and show support for children facing this problem.

January 5, 2017 - Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center would like to thank Sheriff Willis Blackwell and the entire Shelby County Sheriff’s Office for donating the proceeds of their recent auction to our annual Toy Drive. Shirley Owens was the winner of the auction of three large wooden crosses.
