February 2, 2016 - The Lady Dragons defeated Timpson 38 to 34 in District Play to improve to 5-2.

January 26, 2016 - The Varsity Lady Dragons defeated Martinsville Friday night in district play to advance to 3-2 in district. Though Martinsville kept a small lead in the first three quarters, the Lady Dragons finished strong. Shelbyville points scored were: J. Ross (2 pts), K. Vaughn (9 pts), J. Jenkins (19 pts), M. Taylor (2 pts) and J. Osby (3 pts). The game ended in favor of the dragons, 35-33.

January 12, 2016 - Shelbyville Red Team won 1st place in the Hemphill Tournament. The team beat Burkeville and Kirbyville to win the championship.
