City of Tenaha Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt

March 27, 2017 - The City of Tenaha will be hosting a community wide Easter Egg hunt Saturday, April 15. The hunt is set to begin 10am at Tiger Stadium Football Field.

Bounce on over with your camera for free pictures with the Easter Bunny! Hunting ages are 12 years and under.

There will be free games to play, a bounce house, and an Easter egg coloring station. A meal of hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available for $2.

City of Tenaha to Host Get Healthy Event

February 15, 2017 - Vickie Jernigan Tenaha Community Planning & Events Coordinator introduces Get Healthy Tenaha. Get Healthy Tenaha is a new program with the intent to promote a healthier lifestyle and bring our community together while doing so.

Thursday, February 16, 2017 Get Healthy Tenaha will hold a public meeting in the City Hall Community Room at 7p.m.

This meeting is to introduce fitness and healthy living opportunities.

Miss & Mr. Pumpkin Patch 2015 to be Held in Tenaha

September 9, 2015 - Tenaha's Miss & Mr. Pumpkin Patch 2015 will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10am in McNeil Park on the Tenaha square. The categories are girls and boys: 0-1 year (Tiny Miss & MR.); 2-4 years (Little Miss & Mr.); 5-6 years (Miss & Mr.). Girls only: 7-12 years (Jr. Miss); 13-8 years (Teen Miss).

Dress is Fall or Church attire, no pageant attire. Entry fee is due when registration form is turned in. Deadline is September 30, 2015. Entry forms & payment may be turned in to Vickie Jernigan P.O. Box 72 Tenaha.

Old SRMC Medical Records Available for Claiming; New Hours Start Next Week

January 9, 2015 - If you have medical records at the old Shelby Regional Medical Center (SRMC) that need to be picked up the hours of operation are Monday and Tuesday from 10am until 6pm starting January 12th.

The location to pickup records has been changed to Dr. Hookers old office at the front of the hospital. There also are a large quantity of records from Dr. McMullen's office stored at this location at this time which do contain a lot of children's shot records amongst other records.
