The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is once again looking to see how the state’s students Take Care of Texas through its annual Take Care of Texas Video Contest.
The contest is open to public, private, and home-schooled students throughout Texas in grades six through twelve. This encourages students to learn about protecting the environment and share this knowledge in a short video.
May 5, 2025 - The Take Care of Texas program is preparing for the 2025-2026 school year by opening applications to its Ambassador Program. The program is designed to provide educators with knowledge and resources to spread awareness of the Take Care of Texas program with colleagues and administrators.
January 24, 2025 – The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is now accepting applications for the Texas Clean Fleet Program (TCFP) with an estimated $16 million in grant funding available for fleet owners in Texas to replace aging diesel vehicles with new hybrid or alternative fuel vehicles. Grants may reimburse up to 80% of the cost of the new vehicle.
