Three Local Students to Graduate from UT Tyler

December 12, 2024 - The University of Texas at Tyler will recognize fall 2024 degree candidates during Fall 2024 Commencement December 13-14 and three Shelby County students will receive their degrees.

Chelsea Hendricks of Shelbyville earned a Master of Occupational Therapy from the School of Health Professions.

Samantha Coleman of Tenaha earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from the College of Education and Psychology.

Calicia Roland of Tenaha earned a Master of Health Administration from the School of Health Professions. 

Local Center Students Graduate from UT Tyler

August 14, 2024 - Three local students have earned degrees from the University of Texas at Tyler. The University of Texas at Tyler will recognize summer 2024 degree candidates during Summer 2024 Commencement on August 17 in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Meagan Burns earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner and Jennifer Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Their commencement ceremony will be held at 9am on Saturday, August 17.

UT Tyler Recognizes Three Local Students on Spring 2023 Dean's List

May 25, 2023 - The University of Texas at Tyler announced the students who were named to the spring 2023 Dean's List.

To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must have completed 12 or more semester hours of undergraduate college-level credit in the awarding semester with a grade point average of at least 3.75. To be considered for this recognition, a student must qualify as a matriculated student pursuing a first bachelor's degree. This recognition is made in fall and spring semesters.

UT Tyler Recognizes Five Local Students on Spring 2023 President's Honor Roll

May 11, 2023 - The University of Texas at Tyler announced students who were named to the spring 2023 President's Honor Roll.

To qualify for the President's Honor Roll, a student must have completed, in one semester, 12 or more semester hours of undergraduate college-level credit with an "A" in all courses. To be considered for this recognition, a student must qualify as a matriculated student pursuing a first bachelor's degree. This recognition is made in fall and spring semesters.
