On Wednesday Center ISD held college letter of intent signings for Lance Wilburn and Kaden Dixon who will be studying and playing college football next school year. Center Athletic and Head Football Ricky Meeks said these athletes were always hardworking and they put in the work needed to earn these opportunities.”

Center Varsity Basketball Team Shows Appreciation to Teachers

February 7, 2024 - The Center Varsity Boys Basketball team showed appreciation to their teachers on Tuesday night, February 6 before the game against Kilgore. The Center Riders went on to defeat the Kilgore Bulldogs by a score of 61-37 in the District 17-4A matchup.

February 2, 2024 - The District-leading Lady Riders travel to Henderson tonight, February 2 to take on the Lady Lions. With two games remaining on the schedule, the Ladies have clinched a playoff berth and the district championship is within reach; a win against Henderson would put them one game away from the Ladies' first district championship in three decades. The Lady Riders are led by senior Mae Johnson who was recognized Tuesday for scoring 1500 points and snagging 1000 rebounds during her Rider career.
