September 3, 2025 - Runners and walkers are invited to take part in the upcoming Poultry Festival Chicken Trot 5K happening on Saturday, October 4th, 8am, at Portacool Park. All five Shelby County public schools will begin regular football season action this week. Junior highs and junior varsity teams will begin play tonight. Varsity games will start this Friday.
