March 13, 2017 - The City of San Augustine Main Street Department is pleased to announce that the Junk in the Trunk Trades Day event will be held every First Saturday of each month. Downtown businesses are encouraged to have special sales or events on the First Saturday too!
Here are the up and coming dates to remember: April 1, 2017, May 6, 2017, June 3, 2017, July 1, 2017, August 5, 2017, September 2, 2017, October 7, 2017, November 4, 2017, December 2, 2017.
This past Saturday, March 4 was fun with a mixture of antique and garage sale vendors in attendance. Plan to come next First Saturday and see what you can find! The hours are 10am – 2pm and set-up is between 8am and 10am. From observation, sales have been known to take place before 10am!
Plans are being made to add other events to this fun filled day! A food vendor will be available at the next event! If you are interested in participating as an arts and craft, antique, or organization vendor, please call 936-201-9798. The entry fee is $5.00 and anyone interested can just come the day of the event, drive in to one of the parking spaces on the square around the courthouse, sign up, and pay. It’s that simple.
