Ladies and Gentlemen,
May 1, 2015 - My name is Chris Koltonski and I would like to announce my candidacy in the 2015 Shelbyville Independent School District School Board election.
I am a member of the 2001 graduating class of Shelbyville High School and have been a resident of Shelbyville my entire life. I have enjoyed working hard for my community for the almost 10 years that I have been employed by Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative. I have been a member of the Shelbyville Volunteer Fire Department for 12 years and I was recently elected as Fire Chief for a third consecutive term. It was also my privilege to serve as a mentor to the Shelbyville Dragon Varsity Football Team during their 2014 season, many of whom I knew from my time spent coaching them in Little League baseball and football.
I am and have always been proud to be a Shelbyville Dragon, I have a heart to serve my community and I would love the opportunity to positively impact both present and future Shelbyville ISD faculty, staff and students.
Early voting for this election began on April 27th and will continue through May 5th. Official election day is Saturday, May 9th. Votes can be cast in the board room of the Shelbyville ISD Administration Office. As always, there are many strong candidates seeking election. I would like to wish each of them luck and I thank each of you for your time and consideration.
