July 23, 2018 - Denning Animal Rescue, an all-volunteer no-kill animal rescue, has started its 2018 Capital Fundraising Campaign. The East Texas Rescue is raising funds to renovate two donated mobile homes into intake facilities for the foster-based rescue.
Fosters are reluctant to take in animals, who have not been through quarantine, for fear of making their own pets sick and often lack the space to adequately quarantine animals themselves.
Denning Animal Rescue needs financial support from the community. The Rescue receives no government funding of any kind and relies solely on donations from individuals. Denning Animal Rescue focuses its rescue efforts on cats but takes in dogs and other small animals on a space and funding available basis. Currently, Denning Animal Rescue cares for 125 animals and has no paid employees. Denning Animal Rescue welcomes new volunteers.
Denning Animal Rescue practices rescue, rehabilitate, spay/neuter, and rehome. It's a community effort. To effect real change, everyone must get involved. Working together, we can change the world for people and animals.
Financial donations can be made by check or money order through the mail at Denning Animal Rescue, 490 County Road 255, San Augustine, Texas 75972, by credit card or PayPal account through the website at www.denninganimalrescue.org, or through a Facebook donation at www.facebook.com/denninganimalrescue.
