Graveside funeral services for Ila Grace (Gay) Allen Dudley, age 84, of Troup, are scheduled for Monday, July 27, 2020 at Jarratt Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas with Brother Don Windham and Brother Dan Flemming officiating.
Visitation will be from 9am-10am.
Mrs. Dudley died Saturday, July 25, 2020 in Tyler. She was born May 11, 1936 in Sand Flat to the late Walter G. and Gracie Whitesides Allen.
She married H. Wayne Dudley on June 20, 1954 in Tecula, and was a member of Afton Grove Baptist Church.
She graduated from Troup High School in 1954, and enjoyed a wonderful life living in the East Texas area including Troup, Hemphill, Jacksonville, and Tyler.
Mrs. Dudley leaves behind a loving family including:
Son, Steve Dudley and wife Vickey of Shelbyville
Daughter, Karen Mills of Tyler
Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County or Hospice of East Texas may be made in Mrs. Dudley’s honor.
Services are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home in Troup, Texas
