May 3, 2021 - Forbis Cemetery workday, Saturday May 8th. The Samford, Hughes and Mills families are planning a joint project with the SRT and DRT to have a workday at the Forbis Cemetery. William Jasper and Barbara Snider Samford and extended families are buried there.
We welcome friends who want to volunteer. We will need weed eaters and any other tools for cleaning the grounds. We could use sprayers of round-up mixed with brush killer if you have this. Also, you might want to bring can of "Off."
We plan to start by 10am, we will take a lunch break so bring your sack lunch and water. The Short Baptist Church has graciously offered to let us eat lunch and have use of the restrooms.
For those who do not know where the cemetery is located, a caravan will leave from the Sam Samford Lodge at 9:30am.
