Danny Earl Steadman, 65 of Tenaha, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Longview Regional Medical Center. He was born January 4, 1957, to Vertis E. Steadman (Black gal) and James E. McClure (Bubba) in Tenaha, Texas by midwife. He was the oldest of eight children.
Funeral service is at 1pm on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Pleasant Hill C.M.E. Church, Tenaha, Texas. Lay-in-state is from 12 noon until 1pm at Pleasant Hill C.M.E. Church.
As a young child, Danny attended Pleasant Hill CME Methodist Church, Woods Post Office, TX (Panola County). He attended the Tenaha Independent School District until his mother moved the family to Houston where he attended the Houston Independent School District. Danny graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1976.
