January 30, 2024 - Timpson Lodge #437 will sponsor an “Open Pollical Forum” for all candidates for office on Saturday, February 3 at 6pm in the So-So Park Civic Center, Timpson.
The Public is invited to attend a “meet and greet the candidates” who will be our future office holders. You are encouraged to ask questions of the different candidates, to see what their vision is concerning our area. We have at least 3 candidates running for sheriff and two for State Representative, as well as Judges of various Precincts. All area Candidates who are running for office are invited to come and address the voting public.
During the forum we will have a “Cake Auction” as a fund raiser, with the proceeds going to the Timpson Lodge for our building maintenance fund and to support the local charities we donate to (ie) 1st responders, EMTs, Police, volunteer fire department, and the 1st Grade class of TISD Fantastic Teeth kits program, and an TISD Senior with a scholarship.
