Event set Saturday, April 6, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at Tractor Supply in Center
April 2, 2024 - Happy Tails Adoption Center (HTAC) will be hosting a pet food drive and pet adoption event from 10am until 2pm, Saturday, April 6, at Tractor Supply, 1155 Tenaha St., in Center.
Several individuals with puppy litters, dogs and cats are expected to be on hand, organizers said. Happy Tails will be waiving its adoption fee for animals adopted on Saturday.
Happy Tails volunteers will be on hand to accept donations of pet food, pet related supplies and monetary donations. They will also be selling dinner tickets and raffle tickets for the organization’s Cause 4 Paws barbecue dinner fundraiser set for April 19 on the downtown Center square.
Happy Tails also hosts pet foster and adoptions on its Facebook page, Instagram and website, Happytailstexas.org. Happy Tails is a 501©3 nonprofit with the eventual goal of establishing a bricks-and-mortar animal shelter in Shelby County.
