Franklin Ronald (Ronny) Jackson II, 56, of Jackson Community, passed away on July 5, 2024, in a tragic motor vehicle accident turning into the driveway of his home, caused by a driver under the influence.
Born on October 2, 1967, in Ruston, LA, Ronny was the cherished son of Barbara and Ronnie Jackson Sr., who have preceded him in death. Ronny worked as a commercial HVAC technician, but his greatest joy was being "Unka" to his nieces and helping however he could.

His beloved K9 companion, Bud; and his cat, Smokey (alias Bubba). Pallbearers for the service will be Elijah Smith, James Carrol, Pete Estes, Dustin Estes, Earl Dunn, and Gerald Morgan. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Jackson Cemetery in Joaquin.
Darren Smith will lead the service, and Ronny’s niece Tori will deliver a eulogy and provide resources to anyone struggling with sobriety or seeking support. Ronny's kind spirit and willingness to help others will be remembered fondly by all who knew his heart. In honor of his memory, his family encourages everyone to drive sober.
