July 19, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular Called Meeting of the Governing Body of the City of Tenaha will be held on Monday 22nd day of July at 5:30 pm at Tenaha City Hall, 238 North George Bowers Drive, Tenaha, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-with:
1. Call to Order
2. Roll Call
3. Invocation
4. Pledge of Allegiance
5. Citizens Input: This time is provided for members of the public to address the City Council on items that appear within the agenda, or a matter not listed on the agenda. A Citizens Input Form must be submitted to the City Secretary prior to the meeting. Speakers' comments are limited to three (3) minutes. Be advised that the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the City Council from taking formal action, discussion, deliberation, or comment on citizen input for a matter not listed on the agenda. The law authorizes the following: make a statement of factual information, recite existing policy, advise that a subject be placed on the agenda for a subsequent meeting. Citizens shall not engage in shouting, unruly behavior, defamation, personal attacks, profanity, or threats of any kind. Comments shall be addressed to the Mayor and Council. Citizens who violate these rules will be asked to cease the violation and if the violation continues, will be asked to leave the meeting

10. Council Items: Repots by the members of the City Council on matters not on the agenda will be made at this time. A total, not to exceed 10 minutes will be devoted to these reports.

The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
