Life came to a close for Zelma Earl Moore at the age of 71 on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was born April 8, 1953 to Dora Moore and Lonzo Moore Sr..
Funeral service is at 2pm Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Hwy 96 North CR 4356, Tenaha, Texas 75974 with Pastor Johnny Jones officiating. Visitation is from 10am until 6pm Friday, November 22, 2024 at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center.
Later years, he met and married Joanne Ratcliff and to this union four children were born: Rodney Moore, Chris Moore, Patrick Moore, and Tammy Moore.
He is preceded in death by mother and father, Dora Moore and Lonza Moore Sr; sisters, Dora Sue Moore, Alice Mae Hamilton, Lucy Mae Casey, and Merlen Allen; brothers, James L. Moore and C. L. Casey; and grandson, Justin Johnson.
He worked in the community for many years. Starting at Center Plywood, then at Center Tire Company. He continued to work until his death at Wright Chryster Dodge in Center, Texas.
