February 21, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular Called Meeting of the Governing Body of the above-named City will be held on Monday 24th day of February at 5:30pm at Tenaha City Hall, 238 North George Bowers Drive, Tenaha, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-with:
1. Call to Order

3. Invocation
4. Pledge of Allegiance
5. Citizens Input: This time it is provided for members of the public to address the City Council on items that appear within the agenda, or a matter not listed on the agenda. A Citizens Input Form must be submitted to the City Secretary prior to the meeting. Speakers’ comments are limited to three (3) minutes. Be advised that the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the City Council from taking formal action, discussion, deliberation, or comment on citizen input for a matter not listed on the agenda. The law authorizes the following: make a statement of factual information, recite existing policy, advise that a subject be placed on the agenda for a subsequent meeting. Citizens should not engage in shouting, unruly behavior, defamation, personal attacks, profanity, or threats of any kind. Comments shall be addressed to the Mayor and Council. Citizens who violate these rules will be asked to cease the violation and if the violation continues, they will be asked to leave the meeting.

7. Discussion and possible action on approving the minutes for the January 2025 City Council meeting(s).
8. Discussion and possible action on approving the financials for January 2025.
9. Presentation from Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP.
10. Discuss and consider approving the recommendation of the Selection Review Committee to award by resolution a contract for administrative services pertaining to the application and implementation, if awarded, of the City’s Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) 2025 Downtown Revitalization Program (DRP) / Main Street (MS) Program grant and authorize the execution of a contract.
11. Discussion and possible action on a contract with AFCO for disposal of storm water.
12. Discussion and possible action on City of Tenaha Municipal Court implementing the SCOFFLAW Program. (Tabled on 01/27/2025)
13. Council Items: Reports by the members of the City Council on matters not on the agenda will be made at this time. A total not to exceed 10 minutes will be devoted to these reports.
14. Adjourn
The Council reserves the right to retire from executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
