April 3, 2025 - Center High School CTE Graphic Design student Gabriel Lamas makes honorable mention at the New Talent 25 competition held at Kilgore College. About 150 art pieces were submitted from high school students from across the East Texas area. Out of the 150, only 38 art pieces were selected to be displayed at the Ann Dean Turk Fine Arts Center in Kilgore. Congratulations to Gabriel lamas for this special recognition and for placing in the top 5 among some of the best high school art students from area high schools. Gabriel plans to pursue a degree in Visualization from Texas A&M.
