May 16, 2025 - Shelbyville’s middle school GT students competed in the GT Robotics Competition at Region 7 on May 15. They practiced for months prior, building and programming their robot to do special tasks.
Shelbyville ISD’s very own Laila Williams, Maylea Rodgers, and Whitley Hoelscher consisted of a team that won 3rd Place! While the other teams didn't bring home a trophy, they were in the top section of the leaderboard.
We are so proud of each team and their accomplishments with this competition.
