Glena Mae Landers Noles (Meme), 90, of Carthage, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025. She was born on October 23, 1934, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Walter Richard Landers and Thelma Irene (Claunch) Landers.

She graduated with the Sulphur Springs High School class of 1953. On September 22, 1953, she married Freddy Burt Noles, Sr. They were married for 44 years until his passing in 1998.

Son, Freddy Noles and wife Wanda of Carthage

Daughter, Marcey Warren and husband Jimmy of Bullard

Grandchildren:
Brandy Noles-Akin and husband Nolan of Carthage
Nicole Esquino and husband Victor of Coppell
Micah Warren of Frisco

Great-grandchildren:
Caleb Esquino of North Carolina
Greyson Akin and Lyla Akin of Carthage
Fiona Esquino of Coppell

Several nieces, nephews, and cousins

Mrs. Noles attended the Carthage Church of Christ, where she taught Bible classes and Vacation Bible School. She also volunteered with the Carthage Service League and Thrift Shop and was known for her thoughtful tradition of sending cards for all occasions.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings: Betty Holt, James Landers, Wayne Landers, and Larry Landers.

A special thank you to the kind staff at Briarcliff and HeartsWay Hospice for their compassionate care. A heartfelt thank you to Alysha Cockerham for her exceptional kindness and dedication.

Funeral services will be held at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am, followed by the service at 11am on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Carthage.

Pallbearers are Greyson Akin, Nolan Akin, Victor Esquino, Chris Metcer, Kanen Smith and Micah Warren.
