Texas A&M AgriLife Extension to Host Forage Seminar Nov. 17

November 12, 2025 - The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office will host a Forage Seminar on Monday, November 17th, at the Shelby County Extension Office, located at 266 Nacogdoches St., Center, Texas.

A meal will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program beginning at 6pm. The cost of attendance is $25 per person.

Participants will be eligible to receive 2 General and 1 Drift Minimization Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Program topics and speakers include:

  • Screwworm Update in Wildlife (1 General CEU) - Terry Hensley, DVM, Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL)
  • Screwworm Update (1 General CEU) - Hank Hayes, DVM, Texas Animal Health Commission
  • Weather Impacts on Spray Applications (1 Drift Minimization CEU) - Matthew Addison, Retired Air Force Meteorologist
