November 13, 2025 - The Center High School Varsity Cross Country Team was recognized at the Center ISD Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, November 12. Each team member introduced themselves to the board and audience, highlighting the pride and teamwork that define the Roughrider program.
The team is coached by Kevin Smith. During the meeting, Cash Ruiz led the prayer, Cynthia Suaste led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Oswaldo Reyes led the Texas Pledge.
The recognition celebrated the team’s hard work and sportsmanship both on and off the course.
