Billy Ray McCoy, 65, entered into rest on the morning of January 24, 2026 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches, TX. He was born October 23, 1960 in Center, TX to the late Hudson McCoy and Willie Mae McCoy.
Visitation is from 10am until 6pm on Friday, February 6 at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center. Funeral service is at 11am on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Center. Interment is at Westview in Center with Pastor Johnny Ray Jones officiating.
Billy was a long-time resident of Center and joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He attended school in Center ISD. Billy Ray worked many years at Holly Farms which later became Tyson Foods. He loved talking noise while playing dominoes and listening to good music with family.
Billy's father, Hudson McCoy; his sister Sarah Jane Mosby and his brother Benny Ray McCoy preceded him in death.

Sister, Willie Jean Ragster of Bossier City, LA

He had several great-nieces and great-nephews with a host of cousins and friends.
The family would like to mention Teresa Bussey, a special friend who was like a sister to him.
