Janie Faye Johnson was born on February 06, 1953 to the late Coleman Sr. and Ellawee Johnson. Janie transitioned on February 27, 2026.
Funeral service is at 12 noon on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Bennett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 674 CR 2582, Shelbyville, Texas 75973 with Bishop W.C. Martin, Pastor and Eulogist. Visitation is 10am to 6pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center.
Janie attended East Liberty School and was the class of 1972. In her free time, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Janie had a heart of gold and was loved by many.
Janie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Coleman Sr. and Ellawee Johnson; brothers, Johnny Lee, Jarvis, C. J., Vester, and Tommy; niece, Rebecca; and sister-in-law, Gloria Johnson.
