May 19, 2026 - Shelby County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8904 will honor Memorial Day 2026 by placing US Flags on the graves of veterans interred at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. The cemetery is next to Watson and Sons Funeral Home, 1554 East Highway 7.
We will begin at 9am, Monday, May 25, 2026 and invite members and citizens to participate. Bring your family and friends. Great opportunity for our young citizens to learn about the price of freedom. Flags will be provided.
