July 21, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of Tenaha will hold a regular meeting at July 27, 2026 5:30pm, Tenaha Municipal Building 238 North George Bowers Drive Tenaha, Texas, at which the following subjects will be considered:
1. Call to order and establish a quorum
2. Invocation
3. Pledge
4. Citizens input
This time is provided for members of the public to address the City Council on items appearing on the agenda or matters not listed on the agenda. Each speaker is limited to three minutes. A citizen’s input form must be completed and filed with the City Secretary prior to the meeting.
5. Department head reports Public Works, Municipal Court, Police Department, Fire Department, City Secretary.
6. Discuss and possible action on approval of the minutes for the June 2026 City Council meetings
7. Discuss and possible action on approval of the financials for June 2026
8. Discuss and consider approving the recommendation of the Selection Review Committee to award by resolution a contract with _______________________ for administrative services pertaining to the application and implementation, if awarded, of the City’s 2027-2028 Texas Community Development Block Grant Program – Community Development Fund (TxCDBG-CD) grant of the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and authorizing the execution of a contract.
9. Discuss and consider approving the adoption of an ordinance establishing a City of Tenaha Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

The Council reserves the right to retire to executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Texas Open Meetings Act.
