Allen Bruce Martin, 61, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday October 13, 2008 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
Services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday October 16, 2008 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Windham, Bro. Jamie Lindley, Bro. Robert Lindley and Bro. B.J. Windham officiating. Masonic Graveside will follow at Sample Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be Wednesday October 15, 2008 at Mangum Funeral Home from 5pm until 9pm.
He was born August 25, 1947 to Quillon Oswell Martin and Lessie (Bridges) Martin. He was a member of the New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church of Shelbyville, he was a member of the Shelbyville Volunteer Fire Department and he was also a member of the Shelbyville Masonic Lodge. He was employed at Shelbyville ISD. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ouillon and Lessie (Bridges) Martin and his Brother-in-law, Tommy Hardy.
