September 17, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of Tenaha will hold a Special Called meeting September 22, 2026, at 5:30pm, at the Tenaha Municipal Building 238 North George Bowers Drive Tenaha, Texas, at which the following subjects will be considered:
1. Call to order and establish a quorum
2. Invocation
3. Pledge
4. Citizens input This time is provided for members of the public to address the City Council on items appearing on the agenda or matters not listed on the agenda. Each speaker is limited to three minutes. A citizen's input form must be completed and filed with the City Secretary prior to the meeting.
5. Discuss and possible action on approving a Mobile Home Permit of $40.00. (Current rate is $25.00)
6. Discuss and possible action on establishing the rates and fees for the 2026 - 2027 FY.
7. Discuss and possible action on adopting the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year Budget. (Ordinance No. 20260928-01)
8. Discuss and possible action on adopting the Voter-Approval Tax rate of $0.0963-100 for 2026-2027. The budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year's budget by an amount of $3,630, which is a 4.47 % increase from last year's budget.

The Council reserves the right to retire to executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Texas Open Meetings Act.
