September 23, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of Tenaha will hold a Regular Called meeting at 5:30pm on Monday, September 28, 2026 in the Tenaha Municipal Building, 238 North George Bowers Drive, Tenaha, Texas, at which the following subjects will be considered:
1. Call to order and establish a quorum
2. Invocation
3. Pledge
4. Citizens input
This time is provided for members of the public to address the City Council on items appearing on the agenda or matters not listed on the agenda. Each speaker is limited to three minutes. A citizen's input form must be completed and filed with the City Secretary prior to the meeting.

6. Discuss and possible action on approval of the minutes for the August 2026 City Council meetings.
7. Discuss and possible action on approval of the financials for August 2026.
8. Discuss and possible action on designating the Light and Champion as the official newspaper for the City of Tenaha for fiscal year 2026-2027. Texas Gov't Code Sec. 52.004
9. Discuss and possible action approving the Holiday Schedule for 2027.
10. Discuss and possible action approving a Resolution (TWDB Project No. 74005 TWDB Resolution No. 26-100) to execute an agreement with Texas Water Development Board for funding in the amount of $2,655,949.00, Principal Forgiveness Agreement Clean Water State Revolving Fund.
11. Discuss and possible action on approval of the year ending September 30, 2026, Audit to be conducted by Goff & Herrington, P.C.
12. Discuss and possible action on approval of a contract with Red Bird Auction.
13. Adjourn meeting
The Council reserves the right to retire to executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Texas Open Meetings Act.
