November 6, 2026 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. (SCOM) will hold its Annual Thanksgiving Plate Fundraiser on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 11am to 1pm at the Senior Nutrition Site, 124 Haley Drive in Center. Proceeds benefit the Senior Nutrition Site and Meals on Wheels.
Plates include turkey and ham, chicken and dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberries, a dinner roll, and assorted pies — $10 for non-seniors and $8 for congregate members.
Free delivery is available on orders of five plates or more, and canned food donations are gladly accepted. Please place orders by November 15 by calling 936-598-7768 and asking for Mrs. Ellen.
Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. is a nonprofit serving Shelby County families and seniors through the Senior Nutrition Site, Meals on Wheels, and Helping Hands.
