Betty Horton Mitchell, age 70 of Timpson, TX, passed away at Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX on August 20, 2023. She was born July 2, 1953 in Tenaha, Texas to Mr. Milton Horton, Sr. and Mrs. Carrie Shepherd Horton.
Visitations is from 3pm until 6pm Friday, August 25, 2023 at Sid Roberts Funeral Home, 3535 S.E. Stallings Dr. Nacogdoches, Texas. Funeral Service is at 11am Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Mt. Gillion Baptist Church, 5545 State Highway 87 North, Center, TX 75935 with Rev. Charleston Johnson officiating and Rev. Rayford Caraway Pastor/Eulogist. Interment is at Mt. Gillion Cemetery, Center.
